Software Installation Tutorial

Software Installation Instructions:

  1. Load the two software installation keys, ā€˜zite0hMnā€™ and ā€˜public.pemā€™ onto the USB-C flash drive (Note that the installation keys only need to be loaded onto the flash drive once and will work for all future software upgrades)
  2. Connect the flash drive to the port labeled ā€œUSB-Cā€ on the VM-2000
  3. Enter the settings on the VM-2000 by selecting the gear icon on the home screen
  4. Select ā€˜Service Menuā€™
  5. Select ā€˜Upgrade/Installā€™
  6. Enter ā€œ1 2 3 4ā€™ on the keypad and select ā€˜UNLOCKā€™
  7. In the Firmware Update screen, use the drop down menu to select the desired software version to install and press ā€˜UPDATEā€™
  8. The VM-2000 will automatically reboot after the software upgrade is complete (Note that the software update may take up to two minutes to complete)
  9. A dialogue box will appear with an ā€œUpdate Successfulā€ message upon rebooting
